You keep 85% of every session fee. VoltNeighbours takes a 15% platform fee to cover payment processing, insurance, and support — so the vast majority of what drivers pay goes straight to you.

Do I need a specific type of charger to become a host?

Most home EV chargers are compatible with the platform. During sign-up we'll ask for your charger's make, model, and connector type to make sure drivers can find the right match. If you're unsure, our team can help.

Is my charger and property covered by insurance?

Yes. Every session booked through VoltNeighbours is covered by our platform insurance policy. You're protected against damage to your charger and any liability arising from a session on your property.

Can I control when my charger is available?
